How to send confirmed sales data or qualified leads over API to windsor.ai

Post by niklaskolster »

If your confirmed sales or qualified leads are tracked in a CRM you can send us the data over API so you can optimise your marketing campaigns for the high-quality campaigns and net-revenue or profit. Then you can see which campaigns and touchpoints in the customer journey are important in bringing the profit and high-quality leads.

Pre-requisities for this:
  • E-commerce tracking enabled
  • ID exists between the CRM and Google analytics
  • You have the net-revenue / CRM feature setup in windsor.ai and the API_KEY
If you have the confirmed sales or qualified lead data in a json file you can send it to us with the following curl command:

Code: Select all

curl -v -H "Content-Type: application/json" -X POST --data @[FILE_WITH_CONFIRMED_SALES_DATA.JSON] https://api.windsor.ai/[CLIENTNAME]/batch/[CLIENTNAME]_attribution/public/crm_conversions?api_key=[APIKEY]
Replace all [TEXT] with your actual info.

The json files should contain transaction_id’s of the confirmed transactions.

Code: Select all

[

    {

        "order_date":  "2019-12-24",

        "crm_type": "Conversion name",

        "transaction_id": "2877082",

        "net_revenue": "500"

    },

    {

        "order_date":  "2019-12-24",

        "crm_type": "Conversion name",

        "transaction_id": "2877082",

        "net_revenue": "500"

    }

]
Net-revenue can be omitted if it’s about optimising for qualified leads. They can also include net revenue if you want to optimise towards profit.

Date is not required as it matches on transaction_id.

If you have a csv file and need to convert it to json you can use this converter: https://www.convertcsv.com/csv-to-json.htm

Here is an example csv that can be converted to json: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Then you will be able to optimise your campaigns based on the confirmed sales, it will appear in the dashboards as a conversion type.
